gTech Eng sits at the heart of Google Technical Services (gTech), a group dedicated to providing technical and product services to Google Users, Advertisers, and Partners through all phases of the Sales cycle. Engineering at Google is unique because so much of what the company works on hasn't been done before. Innovation is key as gTech Eng develops systems responsible for managing the flow of billions of dollars. Externally, the team is helping to define the landscape of online Content and Commerce. And gTech Eng works on a broad spectrum of Google products, generally leading new partner syndication efforts for everything from Google WebSearch to Google Plus Pages. Internally, the team develops tools that channel terabytes of content to some of Google's top products, like Google Maps, and tools that help Google Sales make faster and better business decisions.
As gTech Software Engineer, you’ll develop innovative solutions to help drive revenue and make Google Sales most efficient. You will work with product managers, other engineering teams, account managers, and sales representatives. You’ll have the opportunity to work on challenging projects including web applications, systems and data mining, with a strong emphasis on building scalable server-side components.
