To re-iterate the issues that others are having, I see the same exact tip every day. I had this widget awhile back and it had one tip for two weeks. When I was going through my widget recommendations, I re-added it and got a new tip. So the only way to get a new tip is to remove and re-add the widget? Silly.

The tip message has not changed in about a week. Please fix it, and I really like having this on desktop. Also, please keep the tips fitness and health related, not messages about safety. The ones they put up about safety are way too obvious and not useful. If it isn't fixed in about a week, I will probably delete it. Which would be a bummer, but what good is a fitness tip of the day that doesn't have rotating messages?

It has been a while since I saw an actual FITNESS tip on this gadget. Recently, they have all been safety related. The other day there was actually one that said (paraphrased)"Look both ways before crossing the street". I mean, come on! The gadget title should reflect its content. Give me some Fitness Tips!

Lemon in your water, zero cal bevs like propel,rather anything combined with will power. I truly believe will not only unveal that six pack, but keep you better hydrated, at times less hungry, & straying from sugar intake that is unhealthy! Keep it up & you will feel/look as if you added two wrkts a week!

...I just came across a tip that appears to be in error. "A simple way to cut calories is to drink water with meals instead of high calorie soda or tea." Tea, unsweetened, is not "high calorie"... actually it's no-calorie. (Perhaps the person who wrote the tip lives in the South, where it's my understanding that the default state for tea is "sweet". But, you know, that's not exactly universal.) This inaccuracy unfortunately makes me wonder what other information given by the gadget might be wrong. For the record, I don't mind the ads either; I barely even notice they're there.
