I agree with Ryan. why the color change? And why is there suddenly a separate column for contacts and chat? I DO NOT WANT THEM. HOW CAN I MAKE THEM GO AWAY PERMANENTLY? Why did you inflict them on us?

Normally the background color where the gadgets are is white, enabling someone to clearly see it, but now it has changed to a dark purple which makes it very difficult read the black text. Why the change?

the color of the icons for the gadgets needs to be set to white so that they can be selected more easily. maybe if there was a way for us to modify the colors to our liking. hmmm...

If you look at: http://skins.gmodules.com/ig/skin_fetch?fp=iT1wBA&type=2&sfkey=http://www.daylightmap.com/theme/header/north_03_17.jpg It appears that sometime after 7pm or so (anecdotal evidence) it gets corrupted. I have cleared my cache, tried different browsers, etc. The image always gets mangled about halfway down, and around the same time of day. Hopefully you can see the problem with that url.

I live in Hawaii and the I like this theme but it does not seem to follow my time. I checked if I was set for Hawaii time on Google and I am. So, I am confuse.

I find this idea fascinating. I just wish it didn't show split up on my Google homepage. Sometimes the USA is covered over by the search bar:( Does this show weather patterns also?

As others have said below, it does not accurately represent the daylight lines for the seasons. Right now it is showing that the northern hemisphere has a longer day then the southern and with the date just a few days before the winter solstice...

The Earth-light theme is a breath taking view. Suggestion for enhancement would include displaying all of the continents in their entirety (as approximately close as possible). This can be accomplished by steering away from North American-centric views, (i.e. Rand-McNally, et al. world maps) which always putting North America in the center view. This Northern-Hemisphere type of egocentric view, always cuts off parts of Asia, India and Russia, instead of displaying all continnents in their entirety. I think this edit will give more of a global view for our global society.

I ended up at this website because I dealt the representation of when it was light was wrong. It is November and yet it is showing that it is light longer in the northern tier of the US than the southern. This graphic incorrectly shows by the shape of the lighted area that the sun is over the northern half of the planet rather than south of the equator Fix that for 5 stars

It seems that the seasonality of the lighting is wrong. Evidently, the Sun is above the Northern Hemisphere, which obviously is wrong at this time of year.

I also wish that the google search box wasn't right in the middle...can the image be expanded so that the whole picture is on the top, not split between the top and bottom?

Couldn't we move the map, so the place where we are is not in the middle of the map, where the search box is, but instead, it would be centered on a place where the user of the iGoggle page is NOT. I tried this, because an option was displayed, to change my location, but it did not work. When I tried to change the location, it did not take the change, and the box where you could enter a new location simply disappeared. Did this happen to anyone else?

last week, my Google stuff expanded (without me adding anything) so that I've got a page of white screen. Thus I don't see the bottom section of the Earth-light theme. I haven't been able to reduce the Google blank space. What's up with that?
