Abstract

A drug discovery research system (100) which includes a plurality of computers (110 and 112). The drug discovery research system (100) provides for at least one of the plurality of computers to run a multi-platform object oriented programming code, and at least one of the plurality of computers to store drug discovery related data. The system (100) has a network architecture (300) interconnecting the plurality of computers (110, 112). The network architecture (300) allows objects to transparently communicate with each other. The drug discovery research system (100) provides for integrating and organizing data to facilitate drug discovery research.
