Product Manager - Latin America
This position based in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting and tailoring our solutions to all the markets where Google does business.
The role: Product Manager
Google Product Managers are flexible, results-oriented and experienced people who help drive Google's products from inception to launch. They come from a wide range of backgrounds: many have successfully run their own software/web companies, while others have delivered successful products for large software companies. As a Google Product Manager, you will combine your great instinct for developing compelling products with your strong academic and technical background. You will work with a world class engineering team and utilize your business sense to drive local product goals and strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Initiate new products and product enhancements to meet existing or anticipated market needs.
- Determine product specifications and document in a Product Requirements Document (PRD).
- Initiate and prioritize projects within engineering; track product development; develop product launch plans; establish short and long term product goals and strategies.
- Engage closely with the engineering team to help determine the best technical implementation methods as well as a reasonable execution schedule.
- Work with cross-functional internal teams (e.g. sales, client services, marketing, legal, etc.) to gather customer feedback and ensure smooth and successful launches.
Requirements:
- Computer Science degree preferred (Masters or PhD a plus).
- Strong understanding of internet user needs in Latin America and an innovative history of addressing them.
- Demonstrated ability working with technical teams to rapidly produce prototypes and iterations.
- Entrepreneurial drive with appreciation of user experience and business/commercial issues.
- Demonstrated experience shipping internet products (concept to launch).
- Excellent communication skills in English, along with excellent communication skills in either Portuguese or Spanish.
- Strong understanding of the Internet, Search Engine, and Online Advertising spaces.
