Perth Entertainment Centre - RIP
Beginning of the end for iconic Perth Entertainment Centre | Perth Now
Some final pics of the iconic Perth Landmark below. Source: Perth : Perth Entertainment Centre - Abandoned Stadium | PERTH AUSTRALIA - 6 0 0 0 T I M E S Some great memories of this place as a child. Watching the wildcats when basketball was huge in Australia. Movie premieres etc. It is being replaced with something bigger and better next door, but the memories are what make it special.

I've been wanting to go inside this building for a long time. Went there a whole heap as a child watching the Wildcats, Disney on Ice plus many other events.. Is a shame to see it go, but hopefully the new one will provide similar memories!
Thanks for sharing TJ |

A friend is an engineer on the new building next door.
He tried to get us access in December and got turned down.

My first major concerts were almost all at that centre - INXS, Dire Straits, Billy Joel and U2. Slept out for many many more on the doorsteps including Pink Floyd of which I had ticket #1.
Very sad to see it go.

What times!
