Avatar

It's a pretty meh movie if you think about it and watch it enough. It's basically the "These white people are dangerous." movie that you've either seen in a kids movie or in an after school special as a kid. It's extremely overrated in my opinion. The visuals are pretty decent and the alien animals look pretty cool at times but overall I caught myself saying "It's pretty cool, but it's also pretty meh." whenever it's brought up in a conversation. So that's why I didn't just give it a one star review. Though it's still a thousand times better than the "Avatar the Last Airbender" movie.

I really hated Avatar, the special effects were incredible, but the storyline was crap. I was in the military during the 60’s and a lot people hated us, calling us really hurtful names like, baby-killers and this movie stereotyped the military as murders, mindless goons, thugs who just go out to kill. I’m pretty certain that Avatar 2, 3 and 4 will portray the military the same way, even thought military personnel are dying for us overseas.

One of Cameron's best movies. No where NEAR as good as Aliens or the Abyss (Both Cameron)but still good. Very upsetting turns, some very tense moments, and plenty of action just make this movie ooze James Cameron. The writing was alright, acting fine, special effects were amazing.
