The couple, who stepped out for the premiere of their latest film, A Bit of Light, at the Crosby Street Hotel in New York City on April 3, shared that they like to turn red carpet outings into “date nights.” “Well I can say Anna doesn't look like this every day. I'm very happy,” Moyer tells PEOPLE. “This is a date night for us.” “Back in the day, when we were doing these events, and we'd get all dressed up and go and do these things ... we would then go in all of our glam gear and go to an all-night diner after ... we'd be very happy,” he adds, Anna Paquin (L) and Stephen Moyer (R) at A Bit of Light premiere on April 3. She tells PEOPLE, “I would love to say that I look like this all the time, but no, I don't.” When asked about their key to a successful marriage, the couple who met and fell in love on the set of True Blood, revealed to PEOPLE that they didn’t have any secrets to impart. “I feel like liking each other helps you along the way,” Moyer jokes. Theo Wargo/Getty “Also we like what we do,” Paquin adds. “And we met doing the thing that we like, so interspersing our work lives wasn't ever going to be a weird thing because that's [how] we met.” They went on to say that because they “knew exactly what the situation was” working together and got to know each other well before walking down the aisle in 2010, it was easy to adjust their lives accordingly. You have beautiful children.” Moyer has been helping Paquin as well, as she tackles an undisclosed health issue that has left her with mobility issues and difficulties with her speech. The actress noted that dealing with the issue “hasn’t been easy.” A source clarified to PEOPLE that Paquin will hopefully make a full recovery. A Bit of Light is in theaters Friday, April 5.
