Dakota Fanning Is Ethereal in Fendi at Ripley Premiere

The actress posed on the red carpet in an asymmetrical white techno organza gown on Wednesday

Dakota Fanning looked angelic on her latest red carpet.

The 30-year-old actress graced the red carpet for the premiere of Netflix's new limited series Ripley on Wednesday, April 3. Styled by celebrity stylist Samantha McMillen, the all-white ensemble from Fendi's SS24 Couture Collection featured an asymmetrical techno organza gown with cascading layers.

Fanning also posed with her costar Andrew Scott, who opted for a bolder red carpet appearance: a green blazer and matching trousers with a white shirt underneath and black loafers.

Ripley follows con man Tom Ripley (Scott) after he is hired by a wealthy benefactor to convince his vagabond son Dickie Greenleaf (Johnny Flynn) to return home from Italy. However, Tom quickly becomes enchanted by the glamor of Dickie's lifestyle and does everything to ensure his place alongside him.

Fanning stars as Dickie's girlfriend picture-perfect girlfriend Marge Sherwood, the one who first suspects Tom might not be who he says he is.

The release marks the latest adaptation of Patricia Highsmith’s bestselling Tom Ripley novels, most famously seen on screen in 1999's The Talented Mr. Ripley starring Matt Damon, Gwyneth Paltrow and Jude Law.

Fanning recently opened up about her future in Hollywood and shared her hopes for taking on another role.

"Being an actor is a huge part of my identity. I don't really know who I am without it," she told PORTER, adding, "But I also have a desire to set up my life and career so that I always have a choice."

She continued, "Having kids is probably more important to me than anything, even being an actor. If somebody said I had to choose, I would choose having kids. I'm one of those people who has always felt that pull."

Though she doesn't know when she'll start a family or how much she'll want to work at that time, The Watchers actress said she's taking advantage of adventures now.

"I'm trying to push myself to keep saying yes to things that make me uncomfortable, to keep going to places for long periods of time that maybe I'm scared to do because — God willing — one day, it won't be as easy."

Ripley premieres on Netflix on April 4.
