China Glaze – Holo At Ya Girl! & Don’t Mesh With Me // Fall 2016 Rebel Collection

Hi everyone! Today I have two more glitters from the new China Glaze Rebel Collection. I only have two more polishes to show you from this collection, but I had a baaaddd break on my index finger after taking these two polishes off so it will be a few days before I can even paint that finger again. So stay tuned for the last two from this collection in a week or so.

China Glaze Holo At Ya Girl! is described as, “Green-gold holographic glitter”. I think they forgot to push the button that would have dropped any holographic glitter in this polish because there is none. What I’d say is, it’s a lightly tinted base with tons of greenish/gold shimmer and glitter and a smattering of what looks like blue shifting glitter. What I’d also say is, this is gorgeous! Even all on it’s own it’s so blingy and in your face! There may be some bare spots on your nails after three coats, but it’s so shiny and blingy that you will not notice them. Formula was excellent. This built up beautifully and smoothly. I have on 3 coats plus topcoat for the photos.

Oh look, maybe there is some holo glitter in there after all. This blurry picture picked it up but in real life I never, ever saw it with my eyes.

China Glaze Don’t Mesh With Me is described as, “Lavender shimmer”. I’d say it’s a lightly tinted grayed lavender base with lots of purple shimmer in two shades of purple. This one is really too sheer to wear on it’s own unless you want just a soft (but sparkly!) wash of color on your nails. You will always see your nail line with this one, it will not build up to be opaque. It’s not a bad look all on it’s own, but a better look when you layer it. Still a great formula and really smooth. I used 3 coats plus topcoat for my photos below.
