Alexander Skarsgård is just a confused android… in Apple TV+’s Murderbot.
The Big Little Lies alum will headline and executive-produce the aforementioned 10-episode sci-fi series from creators/directors Chris and Paul Weitz (About a Boy, Mozart in the Jungle).
Based on Martha Wells’ book series The Murderbot Diaries, the adaptation is described as an “action-packed” story about “a self-hacking security android (Skarsgård) who is horrified by human emotion yet drawn to its vulnerable ‘clients.’ Murderbot must hide its free will and complete a dangerous assignment when all it really wants is to be left alone to watch futuristic soap operas and figure out its place in the universe.”

Interesting choice for Murderbot. SkarsgÄrd is not who I pictured. To me it seemed the character was younger.
I agree. And out of my friend group that has read the books/novellas half thought that Murderbot would look male, while the other half thought female. So at least half were vindicated by this casting lol.
