Character Info

Kyoshiro/Kyoushirou is the third Red Cross Knight (RCKs are those chosen to protect the Crimson King) created from the flesh and blood of the Former Crimson King. When later being ordered to kill the current Crimson King, Kyoshiro completes the task but regrets his actions greatly, fleeing Mibu Land in an attempt to become a new person. On this Journey, he crosses paths with Demon Eyes Kyo and they become allies, but inevitably, when Kyo finds out Sakuya, a woman dear to Kyoshiro, has links to the Former Crimson King, he attempts to murder her to the dismay of Kyoshiro. This leads to an epic brutal battle that ends in the defeat of Kyo. As he could not bring himself to kill Kyo, Kyoshiro seals Kyo's mind into his body and hides the original body somewhere unknown.

In the present, Kyoshiro is an enthusiastic medicine-man who believes one should cure people instead of kill them, teaming up with a suspicious bounty hunter, Yuya and the eccentric spear-man, Benitora. Though, if it means protecting his loved-ones, he will not hesitate to use his full power.

In the hands of an expert, Kyoshiro is a hard-read precision character that can easily account for many of his opponents' actions in various ways in the neutral: a projectile for far range to zone, long-ranged-3-way-slash attacks to cover 3 angles with and a counter to punish his foe's offense. Kyoshiro has the tools to respond to anything his foe does along with solid mixup options that can vortex them into oblivion. But at a cost, his tools are all very specific and committal, making it so that his choices and hard-reads really matter lest he open himself up to be easy punish meat.

Has a projectile that hits crouching opponents. Has a counter reversal option. Can install his own counter onto himself to gain indefinite protection until he's hit. Has an unavoidable unblockable overhead setup. Has an almost fullscreen overhead and standing low. Hiougi is great for zoner punishing. Can launch the opponent and combo off it with a raw attack.	Anti-Air is extremely angular and isn't very reliable. All of his specials aside from 5S have an ungodly amount of recovery. High Damage combos are character and position specific Kind of sucks at applying pressure.
