Drew Barrymore doesn't get nearly enough credit for being one of the original beauty chameleons. She's been a star her entire life and in nearly five decades we've seen her do short, blonde curls and thin brows; fiery red, shoulder-length straightness; bronde ombré waves; and so much more, looking absolutely awesome in every iteration. But I have to admit, as someone who pays close attention to Barrymore's hairstyles and has been personally influenced by them, I can't say I've ever seen her look the way Chris Appleton made her look this week.
Barrymore's hairstyle as of late has been long, sometimes beachy, sometimes smooth brunette waves — a low-key, low-maintenance look that pairs well with her fresh-faced makeup and occasionally bright, bold lip. Appleton is known for creating super-glam, often extension-laden styles for celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Jennifer Lopez, who favor more extravagant beauty looks. They may not seem like a likely match, but the makeover he gave Barrymore, with the help of the legendary Charlotte Tilbury on makeup duty, is one for the ages.

In a video clip posted to Instagram and TikTok, we see Barrymore flanked by Appleton and Tilbury in her office. Barrymore is makeup-free and wearing sweats as she lip-synchs "Wait, I can do that better," covering the lens before revealing the completely out-of-character but absolutely stunning look.
Barrymore's long, brown hair is much longer, reaching her waist with the help of either extensions or a wig. And her hair is lighter, covered in caramel highlights that look straight out of JLo's playbook. True to Charlotte Tilbury's signature shades, Barrymore's lips, cheeks, and lids are all decked out in shades of rosy pink, with lush lashes and strategic highlighting in the corners of her eyes.
The result is unlike anything we've ever seen on Barrymore. And… is it just me, or does she look exactly like Khloé Kardashian?
Although I really can't see Drew sticking to this look, it just goes to show that she really does look incredible in any beauty style she tries.
