Picture to the left is the First Edition Hardcover and the left is the paperback edition. While the quality of the printing paper isn't the greatest the material printed on the pages more than makes up for it. If you ever wanted to read the Holy Bible as it existed when Jesus Christ walked the earth this is the book to get. I have to give the writers/translators credit that they only included passages included in the fragments of the Dead Sea Scrolls with missing wor[ds] or fragments of [words] appearing in brackets. This book also gives rabbinic jewish & protestant theology a black eye with the books of Tobit, Ben Sira (aka Wisdom of Sirach or Ecclesiasticus) and the Epistle of Jeremiah (Chapter 6 of Baruch in Catholic Bibles) being found in the collection of Biblical Scrolls as well as the books of 1 Enoch and Jubilees which were only recognized as scripture by the Qumran community commonly referred to as Essenes. More often than not the fragments of the Dead Sea Scrolls agree with the Greek Septuagint (LXX) translation and the Samaritan Pentateuch as opposed to the modern Hebrew Masoretic Text which is only dated to 1100 AD. The Dead Sea Scrolls Bible preserves the word of YHWH in it's original format.If anyone is looking for the non-biblical scrolls found at Qumran check out The Dead Sea Scrolls by Michael Wise, Martin Abegg Jr & Edward Cook.
