Barcelona-born painter, sculptor, and ceramicist Joan Miró (1893–1983) is well-known for his modern abstract work. This oil and graphite on canvas was completed May 22, 1968. Most recently the painting was part of the collection at New York’s Pierre Matisse Gallery.
