Mindful Boca: An Evening with Elizabeth Gilbert

The Peaceful Mind Peaceful Life Wellness Series at Boca Raton Regional Hospital’s Lynn Women’s Institute is delighted to announce that Mindful Boca 2024 will kick off the New Year with bestselling author Elizabeth Gilbert as the keynote speaker on Thursday, Feb. 1 at Lynn University’s Wold Performing Arts Center.

Join Elizabeth Gilbert along with Barb Schmidt and Michelle Maros, co-founders of Peaceful Mind Peaceful Life, for an inspiring conversation about seizing the opportunity and living the vibrant, fulfilling life you’ve dreamed of.

In her critically acclaimed novels and immensely popular works of nonfiction, Elizabeth Gilbert expands our understanding of creativity, spirituality, and love. Gilbert’s memoir, “Eat, Pray, Love,” the #1 New York Times bestseller, famously chronicled the year Gilbert spent traveling the world after a shattering divorce. Translated into more than 30 languages, it has sold more than thirteen million copies and was adapted into a 2010 film starring Julia Roberts and Javier Bardem. In her lectures, Gilbert talks about her writing and seizing the opportunity to live a life guided by creativity rather than fear.

Mindful Boca is a fun and inspirational evening for the community. Each year we host a keynote speaker to deliver a powerful talk that delivers the message of hope, finding joy and setting intentions.  With the funds raised through this event, we are able to provide a range of programs that teach people the gift of meditation, help coping with loss, navigating difficult relationships, and looking to find their authentic selves.

Barb Schmidt and Michelle Maros are a motivational speaking team who create viral videos for social media that reach millions of people each week. We invite you to join us for an evening of Big Magic with the worldwide best-selling author of “Eat, Pray, Love.”

Mindful Boca: An Evening with Elizabeth Gilbert is held on Thursday, Feb. 1, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. at Lynn University’s Wold Performing Arts Center. For more information or to purchase tickets, please visit here.
