My colleague and I travelled to Portugal in order to attend meetings at the university in Bragança.
The reception service, restaurant, and bar were excellent. Each member of staff is genuinely interested in the guests from the moment of welcoming until departure.
Reception: Excellent, a special thank you to Agata
Breakfast: Excellent, so much choice
Restaurant: Excellent, good prices with a waiter who knows Portuguese wines.
Bar: Excellent
Swimming pool: Refreshing and a good size with plenty of space on the terrace.
Rooms: Every day cleaned to the highest standards and the air conditioning is very efficient when the climate is hot.
In conclusion, if you would like to stay in a Hotel that is not run by a monopoly with easy access to the centre of Bragancia this is the place to reserve.

The city is very clean and tidy, with lots of very nice places to eat. The castle is very well preserved, with a Military museum in one of the towers. One of the reasons we drove to Bragança was to see the Graça Morais art exhibition - she is one of Portugal's best contemporary artists, and she lives and works in Bragança - it was very good! Just north of the city, the Montesinho National Park has plenty of wilderness for trekking, biking and road trips.

Bragança is a cozy little historic town, the main feature being the castle on the hill. Recommend walking along the river to get there. A little bit of a climb to get to the castle but not too bad. The beautiful ancient town of Braganca is a good choice for a short stay while being in Porto. The atmosphere of a place far from the beaten track makes it all worthwile. It offers a picturesque old town, numerous museums that one might visit for free, a park where one can stroll along the river and enjoy the views. Plus, there is a castle (Castelo de Bragança), which is a must-see on the list. Being there do not forget to drop in a Tourist Info where you'll find a superkind staff who will help you plan you trip in and around the place. To stroll around the castle during a late evening is great. Perhaps there are some outdoor activities. I liked the town so much, because it's pleasent to walk around - more pleasant than in other towns, but can't define exactly why so.

Braganca is a very welcoming city, the food is amazing. Variety of traditional and more groumet restaurants. The best pastry coffee shops! A wide range of delicious cakes. Great water to drink and to wash, your skin and hair will feel soft. It's very safe!

Staff were excellent spoke English very well and gave us ideas of restaurant locations. Room was average size, seemed dark on entering but once metal shutters were raised it was quite bright. Bathroom was adequate and very clean. The hotel is obviously a few years old and could do with a make over but it is what it is. Breakfast on top floor was excellent as was choice. Good views too. Parking underground was helpful too.

Having a desk, which is excellent for business travellers. The very complete and fresh breakfast. Having a garage is excellent for me when I'm on business, but there is lots of parking area in the outside. Although it's not in the historic centre of Bragança, it's very close and very accessible from the highway.
