Splash page from the 3rd appearance of The Punisher!Spidey and Punisher -- Together!
Spider-Man is front and center in this wonderful splash by Andru, from the third appearance of The Punisher. Andru was one of the pre-eminent Spider-Man artists of the 70s, and this splash is a great example of why, Andru employs a unique perspective, depicting Spidey both coming towards the reader while simultaneously scaling a wall. This page has been in a collection almost since it's publication, this historic splash is being brought to market for the first time in almost 50 years! Pen and ink. Art is in very good condition, the indicia is missing and there is some age wear.

Ross Andru was an American comics artist and editor. He is best known for his work on The Amazing Spider-Man, Wonder Woman, The Flash, and The Metal Men, and for having co-created The Punisher. During Andru's long career he also worked on Sgt. Rock, the Suicide Squad features in the Brave and the Bold, Rip Hunter, Time Master and Sea Devils at DC. At Marvel Andru contributed to Marvel Feature (where he drew the 1st appearance of The Defenders) and Marvel Team-Up among others.
