Lady Gaga arrived at the 2023 Oscars looking incredible in a straight-off-the-runway Versace gown, and naturally, the second she showed up everyone stopped in their tracks to scream her name/photograph her. But right in the middle of Gaga walking the not-red carpet in movie star mode, she noticed a photographer fall over, then stopped what she was doing, and rushed to help him.

People are obviously praising Gaga for ditching the whole red carpet walk thing and helping this photographer, who was fortunately okay. Comments ranged from a simple “Hero” to “And THIS is why she is MOTHER,” “Helpful queen,” and “The queen is queening.”

No lies detected!

Reminder that Gaga is performing her Top Gun: Maverick song “Hold My Hand” during tonight’s show, despite reports that she wouldn’t be.

Oscars executive producer Glenn Weiss actually previously confirmed that Gaga wouldn’t be performing, saying, “We invited all five nominees. We have a great relationship with Lady Gaga and her camp. She is in the middle of shooting a movie right now. Here, we are honoring the movie industry and what it takes to make a movie after a bunch of back and forth…It didn’t feel like she can get a performance to the caliber that we’re used to with her and that she is used to. So she is not going to perform on the show.”

Glad she changed her mind!!!!!! Because the one thing every Oscars ceremony needs is a bit of Gaga.
