Shauna Macdonald was effortlessly chic in a quirky checked blazer on Sunday as she attended the launch of her new film White Chamber.

The 37-year-old actress was stylish in the classic jacket with jeans and heels as she joined her co-stars for the launch at London's Arrow FrightFest.

Also attending the launch were Candis Nergaard, 34, and Sharon Maughan, 68, as they celebrate the film which tells the tale of a woman who wakes up in an empty cell who is tortured for information.

Shauna went for a casually chic look in a simple black top and printed checked blazer combo, along with light-washed blue jeans.

The Descent star added some height with black platform heels and had her blonde tresses in simple waves.

Along with her co-stars Shauna also posed with the film's director Paul Rashid, who also wrote the sci-fi thriller.

In the film, Shauna takes centre stage as the female lead, with the official synopsis reading: 'Civil war rages. A woman wakes up in a blindingly white cuboid cell. Using its sophisticated functionality, her captor tortures her for information; information she claims not to have – or does she?'

She was also supported in the style stakes by Candis, who vamped it up in a black jumpsuit with matching plum lip.

The Grantchester star had her dark tresses in a voluminous bouffant as she attended the event.

Meanwhile Sharon showed off her ageless beauty in a tailored blue pinstripe jumpsuit and yellow undershirt.

The Acting thespian added some more comfort to her look with flat white boots, and kept her blonde tresses styled into simple waves.

The trio looked thrilled to be reunited as the promoted their latest acting venture, which has already picked up traction at several film festivals.
