Lady Gaga swept the MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night, winning multiple trophies, including best video of the year.

With tears in her eyes, she picked up the biggest prize of the night wearing a dress and chapeau that appeared to be made of cuts of meat. The singer, who set a VMA record with her 13 nominations, earlier was awarded best female video and best dance video for “Bad Romance” and best collaboration for her mini-epic “Telephone,” featuring Beyonce.
