These were stored in a basement that was wet, but never had sun. They also appear to possibly never have been read, or read only once, and then left on the shelf with the exception of the 1940s ones which came back from the war I believe. They have the typical old book smells and you'll see in the images where there's damage. Overall these are in good to very good, almost new condition, as you go from the older books to the newer one. Also Virgil still has its original paperback dust jack, see the picture. The cover underneath that is absolutely incredible.”
