1929-1970
Nacio en Uruapan, Mich. – comenzó a grabar en 1948. En la Escuela Nacional de Artes Plasticas en 1950 ingreso al taller de la grafica popular y se hizo cargo de la sección de artes plásticas de la Escuela de Bellas Artes de la Universidad Michoacana.

En 1952 dio a conocer su sistema de grabado en cera sobre clises de cola, cuya aplicación es optima tanto en la practica profesional como en la enseñanza de las técnicas.

Manuel Pérez Coronado
1929-1970
He was born in Uruapan, Michoacán and began printing in 1948. In the National School of Plastic Arts in 1950 he entered the popular graphics workshop and soon took charge of the plastic arts section of the School of Fine Arts of the Michoacan University.

In 1952 he unveiled his wax engraving system on glue boards, whose application is optimal both in professional practice and in the teaching of techniques.
