Kim Kardashian Purposefully Didn't Cut the Tag Off Her Backless Balenciaga Dress

The irony.

Good or bad, Kim Kardashian knows how to get people talking with her style. Whether it's stepping out in a pair of $450 pedicure flip-flops or carrying a grocery bag as a full-fledged purse, Kardashian is always in on the joke. And her latest gimmick was everyone's worst fashion nightmare come true.

On Sunday, the reality star posed for photos before she took her seat in the front row at Balenciaga's fall-winter 2024 runway show during Paris Fashion Week. For the occasion, she wore a black lace gown with a floor-length train and a completely open back that highlighted a big white price tag dangling down her spine. And while you may be thinking that Kim unknowingly committed a fashion faux-pas, she actually did it on purpose, as models walked down the catwalk with the tags still affixed to their clothes.

Kim's only other accessories included a pair of black pumps and a silver bangle around her wrist with her iPhone attached to it.

Showing off the backless design of the dress, the beauty entrepreneur swept her dark brunette hair up into a high ponytail and finished off her glam with smoky eye makeup, pink lipstick, and bronzy contour.

It's been only a little over a month since Kim last made headlines for another one of her over-the-top outfits in Paris. During Couture Week back in January, Kim attended the Maison Margiela show and wore a black bodycon dress riddled with so many circular cutouts, her underwear was fully visible. Adding even more controversy to the look, Kardashian accessorized with Margiela's polarizing hoof-like Tabi heels in black velvet.
