ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – Around 9:20 this morning, thousands of people were logged out of their Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp accounts.

The social media giant, Meta, rarely has any outages, let alone a total shutdown.

According to DownDetector.com, a site that monitors online activity, Facebook is having login issues across all of its platforms, both mobile and web. As of 10:30 a.m., more than 570,000 reports have flooded Down Detector’s reporting page. Users from all over the country, as well as other countries across the world, have reported issues logging in and accessing their accounts.

There have not been any reports regarding the outage.
