Big Balanced Rock

Big Balanced Rock is one of the most famous rocks in monument, and it is located near the Heart of Rocks Loop. To see this balancing rock in person, be prepared for a strenuous hike of at least 7.3 miles (~12 kilometers) round trip. Bring plenty of food, water, appropriate clothing, and a map. Visit "Things to Do" for more detail on the Heart of Rocks trail.
