Lovely Embu Das Artes - I would return! - This was a delightful half day tour from Sao Paulo. We were very lucky to have a knowledgeable guide in Danilo who was both interesting and friendly. The village is busy with plenty on offer especially the lovely art gallery run by Jessica - Fenix Galeria de Arte. Yanomani Store had some great finds and so did Gurani Arts. There are many places to eat and the the museum is a must.

Embu das arts - It's a quaint little streets filled with so much of fun food and hand crafts. The quality of the products were really good and prices were reasonable. I got couple of cast iron vessels and it turned out really good. If you want to decorate your home with good crochet mats, table linens, this is the place. We found great deal of local cheese, spices, locally made wine and liquors.. We had brazillian buffet lunch and found very tasty and cheaper. Even though it's just a 4-5 streets of shopping, it was very colourful with fresh art display, wooden items, handicrafts, antiques, plants and garden items, food and beer, local flavors of desserts and live Music. They had good place for pets as well to play around. Awesome place to visit and buy.

Embu das Artes - Not exactly what we were expecting. Items sold at the stalls and shops were a bit kitschy but still nice to have a day outside the city.
