Post-it launches new sticky note colors with Pantone

The Post-it now comes in a new "variety of bright, bold and pastel tones that bring joy, vitality and calm when pen meets paper".

Even Post-it notes need to keep up with the times! Post-it Brand, the creator of these repositionable notes, has teamed up with Pantone to give the brand that appeared over 40 years ago a facelift.

"What started with a simple but iconic color - canary yellow - has grown into hundreds of products and Post-it color combinations over the years." says Heather Green, global vice president of 3M's stationery and office supplies division, owner of Post-it Brand. "Color has always played a central role in the birth of exciting innovations, which is why we're thrilled to work alongside the Pantone Color Institute to enhance our color palette for designers and thinkers around the world."

With the Pantone Color Institute, the consulting department of the American group Pantone, the Post-it brand has updated nine of its collections of self-adhesive sheets and has created two new ones, named Simply Serene and Summer Joy.

Each of these 11 collections consists of five or six shades, "all inspired by current color trends with a variety of bright, bold and pastel tones that bring joy, vitality and calm when pen meets paper."
