Cory Barker AV Club [The Season 4 finale] also begins a multi-season run of finales that do such a wonderful job of delivering action-packed moments and thrilling cliffhangers that you forgive the show for uneven moments in the previous 21 hours. Jul 12, 2018 Full Review Danny Graydon Empire Magazine Erica Durance provides significant invigoration to a season that, while compellingly advancing the show's mythology thread, is bogged down with 'bodysnatcher' episodes. Rated: 3/5 Oct 18, 2017 Full Review Jeff Jensen Entertainment Weekly The good news about Smallville's fourth season is that a hero has come to save the day: none other than Lois Lane herself, played with great screwball energy by newcomer Erica Durance. Rated: B Sep 22, 2004 Full Review Todd R. Ramlow PopMatters Smallville's dedication to depicting a personally and ethically complicated world for Clark, Lois, Lana, and Chloe is good insurance that it will continue to challenge presumptions about young people's lives and decisions. Feb 13, 2020 Full Review Rob Owen Pittsburgh Post-Gazette As the fourth season begins, the show seems reinvigorated. It's certainly repopulated with the introduction of three major characters, most notably Lois Lane. Feb 13, 2020 Full Review Scott Weinberg DVDTalk.com Good mindless fun with generous doses of super-heroism and aw-shucks sweetness -- but the season seemed to tread over the same territory time and time again. Michael P Love the Lex/Clarke angle and Chloe knowing his secret but trying to keep it to herself and actually helping Clarke without him knowing. Also, the addition of Louise is great and she is played brilliantly. There seemed to be less filler as well so overall, good stuff. Enjoying my rewatch Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/08/24 Full Review Andrius Y Sin dudas creería que es uno de los finales de temporada mas impactantes esta temporada 4 se a punta con buenas tramas , menor cantidad de episodios de relleno que a la final solo entretienen ,ver a Clark y Lex como amigos y saber que la historia dará un giro de 360 grados es algo que me encanta enserio que aunque tengan miles de agujeros de guion es una serie hecha con el corazón y yo como fanático amo esta serie. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/08/24 Full Review My name is kellen i One of the best, smallville doesn't disappoint. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 07/13/23 Full Review mj h Season 4 starts and ends very strongly. Sure, there are a few dull episodes in between, but it's a solid season. It introduces the character of Lois Lane who instantly clicks so well with Clark. The show also takes a new direction with the stones of power arc that has Clark finally embrace his destiny, and it feels good to see all the characters move toward adulthood.
