Crochet Romantic Boho Headband

Hi everyone, this week I am bringing to you a tutorial on how to crochet a romantic Boho headband. This super easy crochet project is perfect for beginners, and is very quick to crochet too! It is made with 100% mercerized cotton yarn (more on the yarn later).

The video tutorial for this project can be found here:

Crochet Romantic Boho Headband: the inspiration

Once again, I was inspired by Coachella to crochet this hairband. I love to mix Boho vibes to my crochet projects, especially in the Summer. A lot of my Summer crochet projects have strong festival vibes, and look perfect with most outfits. This easy to crochet headband is the perfect Boho touch that you need for the Summer. I love it and have adopted it already!

This is a very 60s vibes project

You can find another one of my easy crochet headbands here. It is very easy, and was actually my very first successful video on Youtube last Summer. It also has a lot of Coachella vibes.

Crochet Romantic Boho Headband: the yarn

I love using cotton yarn for Summer projects. Indeed, cotton yarn just has that soft, cool and vibrant texture that looks so great for crocheting. I definitely think cotton yarn adds a little bit of a natural Boho vibe just by being cotton!

This is very quick to crochet

I can’t wait to crochet plenty of cotton crochet garments and accessories this coming season. Let me know in the comments section which projects you would like to see on my blog.

For this Boho headband, I used Drops Muskat in shade 05 Powder Pink. I absolutely love this yarn, and made a lacy scrunchie with this exact yarn last month.

It is a soft and feminine yarn, which is perfect for smaller accessories such as scrunchies and headbands. I would also love to test it out on larger projects too, such as tops or accessories. Have you ever used this yarn? Let me know in the comments if you have, and which project you used it for.

I love this headband so much!

So this crochet project is very easy to crochet. It requires basic crochet skills to make it, and makes the most beautiful of hairbands too. It is a very easy 2 row repeat pattern, using Half Double Crochets mostly. If you are a beginner, this crochet pattern should be perfect for you.

Once the actual headband is created, we simply sew it onto a basic elastic band, and you’re done. This makes a perfect gift for a loved one, and is perfect for any age. It is quick to crochet too. I know I love making headbands and scrunchies all year long, but especially in the Summer.
