Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper Julio Cesar has flown to Portugal for talks with Benfica.

The 34-year-old Brazilian, who has two years left on his deal at Loftus Road, has not played a game for Rangers since April 2013.

He spent the latter part of last season on loan at MLS side Toronto, but he returned to QPR after featuring for Brazil at the World Cup finals.

Now Benfica are interested in a deal, and Cesar has flown to Portugal to hold talks.

As he landed in Lisbon, he told reporters: "I can't say anything, Nothing has been agreed yet. I've come to talk to the club.

"But Benfica are huge, one of the biggest clubs in the world."
