The Gilmore Girls revival series may have answered as many questions as it left us with (those last. four. words.) but in a recent interview, Matt Czuchry, who plays Logan Huntzberger, says we should stop questioning whether or not it means another season will be developed. To put it swiftly: he doesn't think it's going to happen.

In his most recent sit-down with The Hollywood Reporter, he said that he "hasn't heard anything more" about doing another season, and when it comes to potentially reprising Logan, he feels it's "really just finished," and developing more isn't really in anybody's mind-frame right now. "Certainly, coming into this, this was the last four chapters. [...] If there's a reason why fans want more, I think it's just not because of those four words, it's because everything felt organic and right throughout all four chapters."

He was also clear that leaving the final scene an open-ended question was intentional, and though he wouldn't confirm or deny whether he, ahem, played a role in the concluding announcement, he did say that he feels Logan and Rory have gone their separate ways for good. "Their intention was to leave that open and put that out in the universe for fans to talk about and debate, and so I'll kind of leave that to Amy and Dan to say if they want to put any more clarity to that. That's not for me to say."

He concluded by saying doing more would really require lightning to strike twice. "This was really a perfect storm and it felt that way," he said. "So we'd have to see what the timing was and the story was to see if it felt like it was the perfect storm again."
