We thought we were excited when Lady Gaga dropped the first single off her new album "Perfect Illusion" last week. But then, today, she revealed some key info about her upcoming album, and we are now officially unable to maintain our poker faces.

Here are the details: The singer's fifth studio album will drop on Oct. 21, and it will be called Joanne. The title is in honor of Gaga's father's late sister, who died when she was 19 from lupus, and is also Gaga's own middle name.

“She is the woman of my past that is becoming and helping me bring more of my woman honest self into the future,” she said of the album name on Apple Radio’s Beats 1.

"Joanne" is also the name of one of the 11 tracks on the regular album. Gaga said there will be 14 songs on the deluxe version, and each one has a connection to her life. "It's just so personal," Gaga said. "Every single song ... every one of those is extremely autobiographical."

We even got a few hints at the new album cover, which Gaga said will be released today. Gaga's late aunt's handwriting appears on the cover, and DJ Zane Lowe described the art as "simple, effective and timeless."

Gaga said that the album will officially be finished within the next 48 hours.

"There's definitely some bittersweetness to it ... this isn't the end, it's just the end of the is moment. It's also the beginning of this moment."

The next thing to look forward to from Gaga: A "Perfect Illusion" music video, which she promises will be out soon.
