Here's how Zoe Saldana knew her husband was the one

Talk about love at first sight. Zoe Saldana began dating her husband, artist Marco Perego (now Perego-Saldana), just before she shot Infinitely Polar Bear (a game-changing indie for the actress, which hits New York and L.A. this weekend). Months later, they were married. Now, the two are parents to adorable 6-month-old boys, Cy and Bowie.

Ready for some romance?

The spark was there "before I even saw his face," the actress tells USA TODAY. "I just saw him from behind. It was 6:30 in the morning, I was on a flight to New York. And I can't even describe to you, it was a vibration. He turned in that moment, because he felt the vibration as well."

She continues:

"I know people don't believe in it; I didn't believe in it. I'm a very Sigmund Freud person, I'm very logical. But that — I'm OK not having an explanation for that. Because I don't need to explain that. It was enough that I felt it. And that was it."

This is Meryl Streep 101, guys

Tell Zoe that she's following the Meryl Streep Guide to Life perfectly (Meryl has been married to sculptor Don Gummer for 36 years) and she brightens. "He is an artist!" One who travels with her to film productions and sets up shop there, to boot. She nods. "That’s what Marco and I are going to do."
