I was ready to get rid of the seven binders I purchased from The Container Store in 2005 that had been holding my almost 500 CDs. I needed a more space-saving alternative and THIS was perfect! It holds all of my CDs (got rid of the jewel cases in 2005) with space for even more and fit perfectly on the desired shelf. They were already in genre/alphabetical order in the binders so I used the included separators to divide the genres. The clear box lets me see the front of the CDs in their rows, and the split access lid means I don't have to take it all the way off the shelf when I need one. Surprisingly, 450 CDs don't way as much as I thought they would in this case, and the locking lid makes it easily portable without worrying I'm gonna have to alphabetize all these things again. Only annoying thing is getting that label off, lol.

I purchased several Iris Large Media Storage Boxes to store my music CD's. They are fantastic because when they are full they are not so heavy that I can't carry them and I like that they are clear plastic so I can read the titles on the CD's without opening the box. They also open and close easily enough for access and they stack very well. I am very happy with my purchase!
