Beware, Know before you buy

There are several aspects of these totes that I like.

• always available - I have been able to slowly purchase these over many years. Unlike most tote brands that constantly change their designs making it hard to match later when you need more.

• Sturdy - I have yet to run into an issue where they buckle under weight of other items stacked on top of them or lids sinking in over time for the same reason.

•Stackable - they stack well, lids and bottom interlock making them more secure ( helpful for overhead tilt and peeks without slipping apart )

• Good protection for storing most anything - I have used for years in the home and in the garage workshop. they are subject to not only dust but extreme amounts of sawdust and debris. I have yet to open a container and find any contaminants make their way in.

• good dimension design - I like that there is less drastic variation of of size from top to bottom. One of the reasons I started using these totes was because other brands would have a large discrepancy, being several inches smaller on the bottom than the top making it more difficult to store things in them in my opinion.

Over all I love these totes.

I would only suggest to the owner of this company that maybe hey could consider adding more lid colors as an option when purchasing. I have begun color coding the lids per holiday using spray paint. Magenta for Valentines, Red Christmas, Sky Blue for easter, Orange Halloween, Copper Thanksgiving, Green for Saint Patricks, and the list go on for many other things as well. Rustoleum paint and primer 2X one coat has worked very well for this project.
Top snaps on securely yet opens with one hand

Excellent storage option that we're also using in the workroom to organize tools. The Commander bin is small enough that we can set up our tool selections by type: screwdrivers in one, wrenches and pliers in another. The lids let us stack the bins until we're ready to pull out a tool. The tops snap on securely yet are very easy to pop back off with one hand. That's important because often when I'm in the workroom, I've already got something associated with the project in my other hand. I can reach up, pop off the top, get what I need and secure the lid again without putting stuff down and possibly forgetting it.
Great storage size poor quality

I am a huge fan of the traditional rubber maid big totes, they were flexible and never cracked. These totes are great size and can store exactly what you want, the only problem is they are breakable/brittle. If you know this then you just need to be careful, especially with the lids. Rubbermaids - the more pliable totes you could drop ten feet and they would crack unless they were super super cold. These totes you drop on the corner and they shatter, especially the lids. I would buy again but set my own expectations to expect to replace the lids, oh wait you can't buy just lids so i would replace the entire tote then.
Worth every penny.

Love the tote, the only issue is I wish the tops were a little bit thicker, if forget to label the content and have them stack and try to peak into one the top will crack, but that's really on me. I have 20+ full of xmas ornaments and 4 full of train and train parts.
