Offroad Mechanic Simulator “First Job”
How I inherited my grandmother’s service station.
In my life, I had to deal with off-road once, and it was by accident, when
I turned my Opel Corsa on the wrong road. It was an adventure that I will remember for a long time, although paradoxically it lasted a very short time. Thanks to the mechanic simulator, I was able to return, without stress, to the wilderness and prove myself as a professional.

Although First Job offers us a short fragment of the game, which is only intended to whet our appetite for more, as a demo it does its job perfectly.
I’m a person who played little simulators, and yet I quickly caught the mechanics and mastered the controls. Although I admit that the first race ended with drowning the car, who has never rolled a car into a river and cast the first stone?
In the game, we play the role of a grandson who took over the service station from his grandmother. Our first task is to restore her old car and test it in field conditions. The game tells us what to do, marking which part we have to dismantle and replace with a new one. Unfortunately, what makes the program easier, the camera makes it harder, which is unintuitive and it took me a long time to learn how to operate the mouse in such a way that I could easily get to every part that I wanted to fix. It was a hindrance due to my little experience, so the more I played, the better I got at it.
Driving a car is extensive. We can change drives, manipulate rotations,
and even turning the car itself is very well reproduced. As a layman, I do not appreciate such nuances, but I think that there will be players who are waiting for it. While driving, you can rotate the camera in any way, which means you can check if the creator wanted to create a model of the character sitting behind the wheel and… spoiler alert: yes, they did it.
As in every game, also in the Offroad Mechanic Simulator, there are loading screens on which we have hints. One of them sounded. “A clean vehicle is slower to break down”. Yes, after every race we have to wash our car and it`s so nice to see this dirt disappear under the jet of water from the pressure washer.
First job is a successful demo, it convinced me to add the full game to my wishlist. Although it seems that each subsequent task will repeat the pattern: car diagnostics, disassembly of parts, repair, and driving in the field, this is exactly the life of a mechanic and I think that it will not bother anyone. The title may scare off beginners, but the rules can be mastered very quickly, making the game accessible to everyone, regardless of experience.
