This figure brings me right back to my younger days, watching those early Simpsons seasons and loving it. While my attention has wandered to other shows, games, girls, and now a wonderful wife and family, this figure is one of those rare touchpoints that just let's me be ten years old again and happy.
The figure itself is pretty cool. Burns is pretty perfectly captured as he appeared in this X-Files spoofing episode, where the irradiated old man benevolently spooked Springfield. An Alien? No, it's just medically morphed Mr. Burns. He's made of glow in the dark plastic too, which I haven't tested.
A really, really great figure, and it's hard to believe that twenty plus seasons of Simpsons have gone before this guy got made.
I particularly like the translucent nature of the glow in the dark plastic. It's a fabulous figure of a rare, benign Mr. Burns with dilated irises as he wanders the forest hopped up on goofballs. Thanks, Neca, for the informative liner notes!
I was lucky enough to get this at regular price. It's a great figure! The $35 price tag I've seen it going for is a little much though. The glow in the dark robe really makes this piece stand out!
