Hat's off to her! Crystal-embellished stetson modeled by Lady Gaga at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is worth a whopping $1 MILLION and took more than 300 HOURS to make

  • Lady Gaga performed as a part of the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show on Wednesday in Paris
  • Over the day she sported five different outfits, but during the performance she sported a crystal-covered black hat decked with beaded strands
  • The hat was created by Gladys Tamez Millinery in collaboration with Swarovski, cost one million dollars and was covered with 45,700 crystals

Lady Gaga is no stranger to a serious fashion statement - including one with a hefty price tag.

But the singer's latest expensive accessory is not the expected set of diamond earrings or a jewel-dripping necklace, but rather a sparkling black hat - one worth a full million dollars.

The hat was a part of just one of five appropriately over-the-top outfits that Gaga wore during her performance at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show on Wednesday, but it has since emerged that the single item was drenched in enough crystal to cost a fortune.

According to WWD, the hat was a custom creation made by Los Angeles hat design brand Gladys Tamez Millinery and Swarovski.

In all, the hat and its glittering, draped fringe of 60 hand-beaded strips was made up of 45,700 Swarovski crystals.

A total team of 10 people worked on the hat for more than 300 hours to complete it.

On stage, Gaga paired the pricey chapeau with a sparking black body suit and a pair of towering platform boots.

But despite sporting one outfit with over a cool million, Gaga also donned four other exciting ensembles for the Paris show.

Backstage she wore the Angels' signature white bra set and even frolicked with the models in their recognizable pink robes.

Then, on the carpet on the way into the event, she looked chic and daring in a Alaïa lace dress before donning the sequinned jumpsuit she sported on stage.

Later in the performance she was also given her very own wings as she belted out A Million Reasons in a stunning floral gown.

The big finish: She changed once more into another Alaïa ensemble for the finale alongside fellow performers Bruno Mars and The Weeknd

Keeping it up: The wide-brimmed hat look has become a common one for Gaga since the release of her album. She is pictured wearing another Gladys Tamez Millinery at the AMAs

Last but not least she went back to Alaïa with a sheer lace crop top and skirt for the show's finale, where she stepped out alongside the Weeknd and Bruno Mars.

The wide-brimmed hat is a style in line with Gaga's latest album Joanna, which features the pop star on the cover wearing a pink stetson.

Since the release, Gaga has been spotted at other events sporting similar headgear, including at this year's American Music Awards, where she arrived in a white suit and white hat, also from Gladys Tamez Millinery.
